Our Sites

32 Clarendon Road, Watford, WD17 1JJ

On Monday 3rd September 2018, we moved into our modern school building in the heart of Watford. This is just around the corner from our former temporary home at the St John’s Church Halls in Estcourt Road.

We are a three storey building with a rooftop playground in addition to the playground at ground floor level. Facilities include a school hall and studio, library, food technology room as well as a special sacred space for Godly Play. We are fully settled in our wonderful building and each year as we grow we extend into more classrooms and spaces.

The site is still only a short walk away from St John’s Church, where our school family, friends and the wider community join us for acts of worship, celebrations and community events.

This new site also provides us with further opportunities for the hiring of facilities. You can find out more information about the facilities for hire by clicking here.

Our previous temporary home – St John’s Church Halls

We opened our school in September 2016 in the temporary site of St John’s Church Hall in Estcourt Road. We have many fond memories of the building and it was a little sad when we packed our boxes and moved down the road! Although, equally, we were so excited to be moving to our new building and all the additional facilities that will bring us.

This building has reverted back to a wonderful community space for Messy Church, a Nursery and other hiring facilities.

Transport Links

We expect the majority of our children to walk, scoot or bike to school and strongly encourage this – not only is it better for the health of our families, they are also the least impactive modes of transport for our neighbours and the environment.

Should you have to travel by vehicles, we would encourage you to consider public transport.

By train – Watford Junction Railway station is approximately a 10 minute walk from the site.

By bus – The nearest bus stops are: Clarendon Road near the junction of Gartlet Road, or the bus stops close to the former Watford Market. Both of these are a few minutes walk from the site.

If it is essential that you travel to school by car, please be advised that, for the safety of the children, there will not be a drop off point directly outside the school, and the school site is within an area which is permit controlled and patrolled regularly by parking wardens. We would expect families to use the free two hour Sainsbury’s car park or the paid Sutton Road car park which is located nearby.
