A Big Thank You To John Lewis

 

At the end of the summer term the Chair of FOStJ’s, Mrs Langeveld and three school ambassadors visited John Lewis. They were on a mission to collect a very important piece of paper. With a big thank you to Pearl Robson, the Community Liaison Coordinator for John Lewis, the three school ambassadors gratefully received a large cheque for £800.00  Pearl has a role on the Divisional Community Investment Committee (DCIC). This committee very generously supports projects that make a difference in the local community. The wonderful donation will be used to extend our library books and for furnishing the purpose built library at the permanent site. Whilst on their mission in the centre of town the children used some maths measuring skills, had fun with a photo opportunity and observed how money is banked.
