Happy New Year & Back to School on 7th January 2025

Happy new Year to our St John’s C of E Primary School children, families, staff and community. Our school will be closed to our pupils, families, staff and visitors on Monday 6th January 2025.

We look forward to welcoming all children, from all year groups, back to school on Tuesday 7th January 2025

We’ll be wearing yellow on 11th October 2024

Our children and staff are welcome to wear yellow on 11th October 2024 to show support for children & young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Young Minds, a charity which provided guidance and advice for children and young people is encouraging everyone to wear yellow to add brightness to the world.

Reception 2024: First Day at School.

Our school community grew today as we welcomed our new Reception intake for their first full day at school. It was a mixture of excitement and nerves for both the children and their families, school staff were available to welcome the children.  Our PTA, The Friends of St John’s C of E Primary School gave each family a gift to celebrate the first day.
