Volunteering
Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity, for both school and the volunteer.
Our children benefit from having volunteers from the community in our school, providing additional support to the children or by enhancing the facilities we can provide.
Volunteering can provide you with
- the joy of helping the children
- increased confidence
- experience of working within a school environment
- learning new skills or sharing the ones you already have to increase the children’s learning opportunities
- being part of a friendly team
If you are interested in volunteering at St John’s, please complete the following St John’s C of E Primary School Volunteer Application Form and return to school office either by email office@watfordstjohns.org or in person to the school office. We will evaluate your skill set and availability against our current needs.
Successful volunteers will be invited for an initial meeting with the Headteacher. If you become a regular volunteer, we will require you to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
