Eagle Club

We are very proud to provide a before school and after school club to help our parents and to provide a stimulating environment of an extended day for some of our children. Staff who are already part of the St John’s family are employed to lead the clubs. Our clubs enable children to have a home from home experience at the start and the end of the day where children can choose their activities from those on offer and also have the opportunity to practice their reading and writing skills. These are paid pre-bookable services.

• Eagle club AM: 07:45 – 08:45 – Each session costs £6.00. Cereals are available.
• Eagle Club PM: 15:15 – 17:30 – Each session costs £11.00. The children are offered a light snack consisting of sandwich and vegetable/fruit, so that they can still enjoy a family dinner at home.

Please note that After School Club is not available on the last day of each school term.

To collect your child from After school Eagle Club, please go to the Studio door in the Car Park and ring: 07898 086982

All bookings are made through our online booking service. This gives you more control over your bookings, see whether spaces are available and you can book up to one hour before the start of a club. You can also cancel your session online. If you give more than 72 hours notice, your bookings will be refunded.

Eagle Club is very popular and places are filled quickly. Families are encouraged to book their place for the whole school year at the earliest opportunity. It is not always possible to offer ad hoc places.

Please note that all payments will need to be made at the time of booking, although there is an option for you to set up an instalment payment plan for long term bookings, providing you have given enough notice.

If you are in receipt of Free School Meals and think that your family would benefit from the use of Eagle Club, but may have difficulties with the payments, please contact the school office to speak with our Family Support Advisor.

Make a Booking

All Eagle Club bookings, both for Breakfast and After School Club are made via our online booking system, Magic booking. Please note that Reception children cannot be booked into Eagle Club for their first week when they start school due to the transition into full school days.

Magic Booking is a  self managed system that enables our families to make, amend and cancel Eagle Club bookings. Guidance on how to use the system is available on the Magic Booking website.

Magic Booking

Payment is required at the time of booking, and can be made using a credit card, debit card or childcare vouchers. Payment instalment plans are available for bulk bookings.

Terms and Conditions can be accessed via the Magic booking and school website, administration and late fees apply. Please note that the Terms and Conditions have been updated for June 2023.
