Celebrating 100 Years as Watford Borough, 1922-2022

21 Oct 2022

St John’s Church of England Primary School has been a part of the Watford community since 2016, we are proud to part of a energetic, diverse town.

2022 marks 100 years since Watford officially became a borough and St John’s C of E Primary School, together with a number of other local schools, joined Mayor Peter Taylor to commemorate this milestone in our town’s history.

Congratulations to Mariia,  one of our pupils, who was a central part of the celebrations: her design for a Watford centenary flag was one of the designs chosen by Mayor Peter Taylor. Marria’s design was printed on smaller flags and she received a special commemorative coin..
