The current class will be the first St John’s Year 6 Leavers and a number of events have been arranged to celebrate this milestone.

St John’s football team

4 Mar 2023

Monday The 27th of February 2023 was a football match. The St John’s football team were competing against a school called Bushey manor. We lost 11-0 but enjoyed it and had lots of fun. It was our first time playing on a big pitch but we never gave up. The star of the football team was Leandro with the best tricks in the world.

We can improve on not staying in a group and just spreading out. I hope we get invited to more amazing and fun football matches.

It would be wonderful to see the school community and the wider Watford community join together to create a series celebrations for a milestone in our school history.
Please contact our school office on 01923 255 017 or email office@watfordstjohns.org for more information about how to support our celebrations.

Love Thy Neighbour

5 Feb 2023

The value of the month is Love. Being based on Clarendon Road means that we have the opportunity to connect with local businesses and form long lasting relationships. We have been very lucky to have received support from a number of organisations who have sponsored events, donated items or volunteered to support projects.

Our lovely neighbours next door at British Steel Pension Fund kindly donated ten office chairs, three desks and a storage cabinet to our school. We are thankful for their generosity, the kind donations have made a huge difference to the school office and classrooms.
