Eco Ambassadors visit to St Mary’s Church

Eco Ambassadors visit to St Mary’s Church

20 Jun 2025

Our Eco Ambassadors had a fantastic visit to St Mary’s Church this week.

We were excited to return and plant the wildflowers we had grown in their open space. We were amazed by how many beautiful flowers had bloomed in the area since our last visit, when we scattered seeds.

Using identification charts, we were able to learn the names of the various flowers that had grown. We spotted camomile, poppies, common vetch, cornflowers, and marigolds. We then used trowels and spades to replant the flowers from our troughs.

St Mary’s was very impressed with our hard work and even presented us with a beautiful photograph of a butterfly.
